COTSWOLD LINE PROMOTION GROUP
![]() The 40th Annual General Meeting of the Cotswold Line Promotion Group heard that there had been welcome signs of improvements in the reliability and punctuality of services on the route after several months of cancellations and delays to trains. The group’s chairman, John Ellis, told more than 90 members at the meeting held in Moreton-in-Marsh on Saturday, May 12, that the improvements came after a “serious deterioration in train performance” since the autumn of 2017. During the meeting the GWR power car nameplate, commemorating the life of Sir Peter Parker and the Cotswold Line's 150th anniversary was presented.
