VISIT TO STRATFORD-UPON-AVON GRAMMAR SCHOOL FOR GIRLS

20 November 2009: A visit to Stratford-upon-Avon Grammar School for Girls to talk to members of the Sixth form about the work of the House of Lords. Sixth formers from King Edward’s Grammar School and Stratford High School were also present. The talk was very pertinent in view of the possible further reform of the second chamber announced in the Queen’s Speech. Lord Faulkner also responded to the many and varied questions asked by students, giving the lie to the suggestions of political apathy amongst the young.
